IMPACT Community Health Service (ICHS) is inviting passionate community members to apply for positions on its Health Precinct Advisory Committee, a key group that will help guide the future of healthcare in the Discovery Coast region.

A new wellbeing initiative is set to transform support across the Discovery Coast, thanks to funding from the Queensland Government’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Grants program. The Discovery Coast Social Prescription Community Coach Initiative will embed a full-time Community Coach, someone with lived experience of mental ill-health, into Agnes Water’s IMPACT Community Health Service (ICHS) on Rafting Ground Road.

IMPACT Community Health Service (ICHS) Discovery Coast hosted its second Health Professionals Network Evening in Agnes Water on Tuesday 23 January 2024, attracting 15 attendees from various health sectors.

When you walk into the reception area of the newly refurbished IMPACT Community Health Service (ICHS) at Agnes Water, you might feel like you have stepped into a different world. A large wall mural of the Paperbark Forest, a local tourist attraction, greets you with its serene beauty and calming effect. The mural is the work of Kim Cooke, a local photographer and artist.
