As we celebrate the 12-month anniversary of our GP-led clinic at IMPACT Community Health Service (ICHS), we are proud to reflect on a year of significant achievements and meaningful community impact. Since opening our clinic doors in November 2023, we have welcomed over 1,600 new patients across 5,500 appointments. We have provided essential healthcare services such as general medicine, chronic disease management, heart and skin checks, ECGs, and palliative care to local residents without the need for travel.
Over the past year, the clinic has become a cornerstone of the community, significantly improving local healthcare access and delivering a holistic approach that has enhanced the overall well-being of our patients. By offering comprehensive healthcare services, we have addressed immediate medical needs and contributed to the long-term health and wellness of the community.

"Opening on Saturday mornings aims to enhance access to healthcare outside of regular business hours. We are dedicated to making healthcare as accessible as possible for our community, and extending our hours to include weekends is part of that commitment," Ms. Mackie added.
Our General Practice, along with our Community Nursing, Allied Health Programs and Visiting and Co-located Health Services provides a suite of locally based healthcare services. Looking ahead, we remain dedicated to adapting and evolving our services to continually meet the healthcare needs of our community.
Our vision is to continue providing exceptional care and to expand our services so that local residents do not have to travel for the healthcare they deserve.
